KantanMT recognised for excellence in language translation technology, wins prestigious technology innovation award 2016

28 November 2016, Dublin, Ireland: KantanMT, provider of leading-edge language translation technology was announced the winner of the Irish Software Association’s Technology Innovation of the year Award at the ISA Gala dinner on Friday, 25 November 2016 in the Mansion House Dublin.

Over 450 attendees from companies and organisations around Ireland attended the annual awards event. Mark Little, VP of Media EMEA and MD of Twitter Ireland and, founder of Storyful was the keynote speaker for the evening and Sports Broadcaster, Darragh Maloney took on the role of MC for the evening.

The Technology Innovation of the year Award, which is sponsored by Bank of Ireland recognises new products, technologies or innovative approaches to software development that have significant business impact and demonstrate innovation that leads to new business models. The winning company of the Technology Innovation Award must demonstrate clear visionary and transformative technology in a developed platform, product or service area. The 2016 Technology Innovation of the Year shortlisted finalists were:

  • TDS Life-Safety

 

Other award winners on the night were LogoGrab, eShopWorld, Storm Technology, Accenture Ireland, Openet, and the Irish Centre for High-End Computing (ICHEC). Karl Flannery, business leader, technology enthusiast and CEO of Storm Technology was named ISA Person of the Year 2016.
