Specialist Life Sciences Facilities and Equipment at DCU

The Nanobioanalytical Research Facility (NRF) is located on the DCU Glasnevin Campus. The facility was established to address the needs of the research activities in Science and Engineering, both within and external to DCU. It is staffed by an experienced team of Research Technical officers, thus enabling DCU researchers, visiting research teams and industry to collaborate in state-of-the-art labs, augmenting the process of bringing research from concept through to final prototyping and ultimately, commercialisation.
The NRF houses a large range of high end research equipment that will allow it to create core capabilities across areas such as:  Nanosynthesis; Nanometrology; Micro and Nano fabrication; NanoBioPhotonics; Analytical Characterisation.
This multi-disciplined approach and close proximity to the National Centre for Sensor Research (NCSR) and the National Institute for Cellular Biotechnology (NICB) will enhance the development of research across core disciplines.
