DCU President’s Awards for Innovation 2018
DCU Invent is delighted to launch the DCU President’s Awards for Innovation!
Now in their sixth year, these awards are designed to foster a culture of innovation in the University through encouragement and the recognition of achievements of both students and staff of DCU. These awards consist of 3 categories: Students, Administrative & Support Staff, Academic & Research Staff. The winner in each category will receive a certificate and a cheque for €2,000 which will be presented by Prof. Brian MacCraith, President of DCU.
All staff and students at DCU are eligible to be nominated. Those who have previously received an award must wait two years before being eligible again. All nominees must be either currently employed by DCU or a current student(s). Self-nominations will not be accepted. All nominees must be proposed by a DCU staff member or a senior representative from an external agency.
Deadline for nominations is 15th March 2018 at 5pm.
Nomination Form is available here
The selection of the winning nominations will be undertaken by a sub-committee of the DCU Innovation Working Group along with a number of external evaluators. The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony which will take place in DCU on the 18th April 2018.
